The annual Barnyard Babies event will return to the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, Bonner Springs, on Saturday.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ag Hall, 126th and State Avenue, Bonner Springs.
Visitors may expect all sorts of baby animal displays and exhibits, with the help of local 4-H members.
Pigs, ponies, lamas, mustang, burro and sheep are just some of the animals that will be there.
The Ag Hall’s miniature train will be running, and kids will be able to meet a farmer and learn about farming. In addition, interactive events are planned, including games.
There also is a kite exhibition scheduled for the day.
Other activities include performances, music, storytelling on the Barn Stage; kiddie pedal pull contests, pony rides and train rides.
There also will be a blacksmith at work, chainsaw wooden art, an antique hay lift demonstration, a cow milking demonstration, and a chance to climb on a tractor or combine.
Tickets to the event are $5 per person; one free child from age 3-13 with each adult; and ages 2 and younger, free.
