Back to normal weather today

Friday will bring normal temperatures to the area, with highs reaching 10 to 20 degrees above normal this weekend, the National Weather Service said.

There is a chance for some light rain on Sunday night into Monday, with around a tenth of an inch expected, according to the weather service. Temperatures appear to be in the 50s approaching Christmas.

Today’s high will be near 41, with sunny skies, according to the weather service. There will be a west southwest wind of 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Tonight, expect a low of 22 with mostly clear skies and a west wind of 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable, the weather service said.

Saturday, skies will be sunny with a high near 49, according to the weather service. A south southeast wind will be 5 to 14 mph.

Saturday night, the low will be around 41, with partly cloudy skies, the weather service said. It will be breezy, with a south wind of 14 to 22 mph and gusts as high as 31 mph.

Sunday’s forecast is mostly cloudy, with a high near 56, according to the weather service. It will be breezy, with a south southwest wind of 21 to 24 mph, and gusts as high as 33 mph.

On Monday, the high will be near 46, with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said. Monday night, the low will be around 33.

Tuesday, the high will be near 50 with partly sunny skies, according to the weather service. Tuesday night’s forecast is mostly cloudy with a low of 38.

Wednesday, expect a high near 51 with partly sunny skies, the weather service said. Wednesday night, the low will be around 33.

The daytime forecast for Thursday, Christmas Eve, is mostly sunny with a high near 51, according to the weather service.
