KCKCC’s Bedard named first team all-region for soccer

Baldwin, Kansas – KCKCC women’s soccer player Jordan Bedard has been named a First Team All-Region member by the conference office.

This is the fourth straight year the Blue Devils have had a member of the team named to the All-Region First Team.

Bedard appeared in 14 of the team’s 16 games leading the Blue Devils with 11 goals scored, 55 total shots and 28 points. She also finished second on the squad with six assists on the season.

The Blue Devils made another appearance in the KJCCC Tournament playoffs, eventually falling to Barton Community College.

Police seek public’s help to identify injured man

Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a man who was injured late last night, Thursday, Dec. 8.

The man was taken to a hospital where he is unconscious and has no identification, a police spokesman stated.

The man is between 17 and 25 years old with brown eyes and about 5-8 and 170 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right forearm that appears to be the initials L.L.D. in red ink, according to the spokesman.

Anyone who knows the identity of the man is asked to call KCKPD’s nonemergency line at 913-596-3000.
