An audition for a Youth Summit and Talent Show will take place at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at the Neighborhood Resource Center, 4953 State Ave.
The show is sponsored by the 3rd District Kansas African American Affairs Commission, in collaboration with several community partners.
The show will take place Saturday, March 28, at Kansas City Kansas Community College, 7250 State Ave.

Winners of the talent show will receive awards of $300, first place; $200, second place; and $100, third place.
The purpose of the program is to help bridge the gap between law enforcement members and the community by engaging youth in positive leadership development activity and addressing public policy concerns of the African American community, a spokesman said.
