At the Mayor’s Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony
Mayor David Alvey spoke to those attending the Mayor’s Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday night in front of Kansas City, Kansas, City Hall. The event also included a steeple lighting this year for six downtown area churches. There was a drive-through event before the lighting ceremony for children to see characters and receive goodie bags.
