At the Levee Fest
Bicyclists, runners and walkers went on the Armourdale Levee Trail on Saturday, June 1, at fourth annual Levee Fest. June 1 also was National Trails Day. The festival, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 555 River Park Drive, celebrated the opening of the Armourdale Levee Trail extension near Kansas Avenue and the Kansas River in Kansas City, Kansas. The event was sponsored by several organizations, including the Armourdale Renewal Association and the Unified Government Parks and Recreation Department.
