Applefest returns Saturday and Sunday

Preparations were being made this morning for the Grinter Applefest, a benefit presented by the Grinter Place Friends and Strawberry Swing. Applefest now is underway from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Grinter Place historic site, 1420 S. 78th St., (near South 78th and K-32), Kansas City, Kansas.
