The 13th annual Lawson Roberts Butterfly Festival is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library, at Wyandotte County Lake Park, 91st and Leavenworth Road.
The festival, at the library at 4051 West Drive, is a family program with educational activities.
There will be face painting, a monarch tagging demonstration, crafts, a butterfly walk, a monarch migration game, scavenger hunts and photo contest results.
