The Alcott Arts Center plans its opening day on Saturday, April 11.
Entries from the PTA Nationals Reflections and Citizenship Contest will be displayed. Students submitted pieces in visual arts, literature, film, music composition and dance choreography.
Local PTA groups submitted entries from their students to be judged by a group of artists provided by the Alcott. These entries will be on exhibit April 11 through May 2.
The opening reception will be at 6:30 p.m. April 11.
Galleries at Alcott will be open through the month by appointment, telephone 913-233-2787. The Alcott is not yet ADA-accessible.
