An accident at 11:53 a.m. May 1 on I-70 near Minnesota Avenue sent a woman to the hospital.
A Kia Optima was westbound on I-70, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report. The driver lost control and struck the bridge rails, the report stated.
A 19-year-old Prairie Village, Kan., woman was injured and taken to the hospital.
