An accident was reported at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, on westbound I-70 just east of a railroad yard in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The location was between the 18th Street Expressway exit and the 10th Street exit on I-70.
The vehicles were westbound on I-70 when a Dodge Avenger struck the rear of a Thomas 340TS, according to the trooper’s report. There were 33 passengers on board the Thomas 340TS, according to the report.
The driver of the Avenger, a 22-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, was not injured, according to the report.
The driver of the Thomas 340TS, a 52-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, was not injured, the report stated.
