An accident was reported at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, northbound on K-7, north of Parallel, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
According to the trooper’s report, a Chevrolet Tahoe was northbound on K-7 north of Parallel when it struck the left side of a Chevrolet Cruze. The Cruze then left the scene, according to the report.
A 22-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas, woman driving the Cruze had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the Tahoe, a 29-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, was not injured, according to the report.
A 33-year-old male passenger from Kansas City, Kansas, in the Tahoe also was not injured, the report stated.
