An accident was reported at 7:24 a.m. Oct. 27 on northbound K-7 just south of Parallel Parkway, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The trooper’s report stated a Chevrolet was northbound on K-7 in the right lane and was stopped at a red light.
A Mercury Grand Marquis came up behind the Chevrolet, did not stop in time nad struck the Chevrolet in the rear, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Mercury, a 28-year-old Mission, Kan., man, had a possible injury and was taken to the hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 49-year-old Topeka man, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the report.
