An accident was reported on I-70 at K-7 at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, when a driver fell asleep, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
The trooper’s report stated that a 25-year-old driver from Leavenworth Kan., fell asleep on eastbound I-70. He was driving a Chevy Tahoe that left the road and overturned, the report stated.
The driver was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
