Accidents continued throughout Sunday afternoon on area highways, as a blizzard hit Wyandotte County.
One accident was reported at 4:34 p.m. Sunday on I-70 at 110th Street, according to KC Scout.
According to social media posts by the Kansas Highway Patrol, I-635 was very dangerous, with extremely poor visibility because of wind and blowing snow.
I-635 was temporarily closed because of an accident, but is now back open.
K-32 eastbound was closed in the Muncie area of Kansas City, Kansas, according to KHP social media posts.
According to a district social media post, school has been canceled in the Piper Public Schools for Monday.
Also closed will be the Turner Public Schools, according to a district social media post.
The Bonner Springs Public Schools also have announced there will be no school on Monday, according to a district social media post.
