An accident was reported at 7:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, on southbound I-635 at Gibbs Road in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, two vehicles were southbound on I-635 at the time of the accident.
A Toyota Camry was braking for a Ford Ranger that also was slowing, but the Camry was unable to stop in time and hit the back of the Ranger, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Camry, a 21-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, had a possible injury and was taken to the hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 30-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man, had no apparent injury, according to the trooper’s report.
