Accident on K-32 reported after Cadillac runs red light

A westbound Cadillac DeVille ran a red light on K-32 at I-435 westbound today and an accident occurred, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.

Around 1:30 p.m. today, the Cadillac hit a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder that was turning left onto eastbound K-32, according to the trooper’s report.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 72-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.

Listed as having possible injuries were passengers in the Cadillac, a 32-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman; and a 29-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man.

The Pathfinder’s driver, a 41-year-old Lenexa, Kan., man, had a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
