About 2,800 Board of Public Utilities customers were reported without power about 7:10 p.m. Sunday, June 18, according to the BPU power outage map.
The figure was 2,911 at about 7:02 p.m. Sunday, according to the power outage map.
Wyandotte County experienced some major power outages on Friday night and Saturday night after thunderstorms.
Right after the storm on Saturday night, about 13,000 BPU customers were reported to be without power in Kansas City, Kansas.
