It was 21 at 11 a.m., with a wind chill of 10, the weather service said. The temperature is expected to drop to 17 degrees overnight, according to the weather service.
Some snow flurries were seen this morning in northern Wyandotte County.
Today, New Year’s Day, occasional light snow is possible before 2 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 21 with a north northwest wind of 6 to 9 mph. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.
