Blessed Sacrament and Christ the King Catholic churches will hold Masses on Sunday, July 18. Masses at Christ the King are at 4 p.m. Saturday, 9:30 a.m. Sunday, and in Spanish at 1 p.m. Sunday. Blessed Sacrament Mass times are at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in English, and in Spanish at 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 18, at Christ the King. Blessed Sacrament Church, 2215 Parallel, will hold a dinner-dance from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. July 31. Tickets will be $40 per person or $70 per couple.

New Bethel Church will hold its 73rd anniversary celebration and block party from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, July 18, at 745 Walker Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The event is open to the community. There will be game, activities, inspirational messages, a classic and sports car show, free COVID-19 vaccines, free household items, family food boxes, free COVID-19 saliva tests, and an opportunity to receive up to $40 in gift cards.
