At the fair

The Wyandotte County Fair continues from 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday, July 17, at the fairgrounds, 13700 Polfer Road, Kansas City, Kansas.

Featured on Saturday night will be the Wyandotte County Fair Rodeo, as well as entertainment by several bands and a hot rod and antique car show.

It will be the last day for the fair.

The rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. and will include bronco riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and bull riding.

The hot rod and antique car show will begin at 5 p.m. in the Show arena.

The pie contest entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to noon in the Red Barn, with judging at noon.

The carnival will open at 6 p.m. and continue through midnight Saturday, with wristbands $30.

Performing on the Main Stage Saturday will be Rusty Laffoon, 2-3:30 p.m.; State Line Drive, 4-5:30 p.m.; Silver Bullets, 6-7:30 p.m.; Sons of Sterline, 8-9:30 p.m.; and Hudson Drive, 10-11:30.

Performing in the Shade Pavilion are the Imagine Magic Show, 3 and 5 p.m. p.m.; Jim “Mr. Stinky Feet” Cosgrove, 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; and State Line Drive, 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
