U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-3rd Dist., today announced that 22 students in the 3rd District, which includes Johnson and Wyandotte counties, were nominated for a military academy appointment for fall 2015.
There were no Wyandotte County students on the list. All of the 22 nominees were from Johnson County.
Rep. Yoder will begin accepting applications, for the U.S. Service Academy class entering 2016, May 1, 2015. The application deadline is Oct. 1, 2015.
