The victim of a homicide reported Monday morning in the 3100 block of Kimball Avenue has been identified as Kyle E. Slater, age 45, of Kansas City, Missouri, according to a police spokesman.
Kansas City, Kansas, police officers had been dispatched to the 3100 block of Kimball at 7:13 a.m. Monday on a report that there was a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man in his mid-40s inside a vehicle, the victim of an apparent shooting, police stated.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, the spokesman stated.
