A homicide was reported on Monday morning in the 3100 block of Kimball Avenue, according to a police spokesman.
Officers were dispatched on a shooting call about 7:13 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found a deceased male in his mid-40s inside a vehicle, the victim of an apparent shooting, the police spokesman stated.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, the spokesman stated.
