A homicide was reported Saturday at the Turner boat access ramp area near South 59th Lane in Kansas City, Kansas.
At about 6:49 a.m. Saturday, a patron at the boat access called 911, stated there was a body found lying on the ground near the boat ramp to the Kansas River, according to a spokesman for the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office.
Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department and Sheriff’s officers arrived to find a woman in her mid-60s who was deceased, in an apparent homicide, the spokesman stated.
The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office will conduct the investigation.
