An accident was reported at 6:48 a.m. Monday, June 7, on eastbound I-70 to the 18th Street Expressway, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Lincoln MKC and a Lexus ES were eastbound to southbound 18th Street Expressway, according to the trooper’s report.
The Lexus driver had stopped to yield to southbound traffic, and was struck in the rear by the Lincoln, the report stated.
The driver of the Lexus, a 34-year-old woman from Riverside, Missouri, had a possible injury, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Lincoln, a 34-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas, woman, was not injured, according to the report.
