BPU to meet Wednesday

The Board of Public Utilities will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 19.

It will be a virtual meeting.

On the agenda are a public comment time, general manager and staff reports, a COVID-19 update, United Way update, the annual 2020 financial audit, miscellaneous comments and board comments.

There also will be a meeting of the BPU Board Finance Committee on Wednesday, May 19th at 5:15 p.m.

Members of the community who wish to speak to the board during the regular session must be logged in to the Zoom meeting via the internet using their browser or the Zoom application. Members of the public will be asked to raise their hand to signal they wish to address the board.

During the public comment section of the agenda, community members will be asked to provide their name and address and will then have 5 minutes to speak.

BPU Monday committee meeting

In addition, the BPU’s Economic Development Committee will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, May 17. The meeting, for the BPU board members on the committee, will be conducted through the telephone and internet. The public may access the meeting through the telephone or through the internet on Zoom.
