Former State Rep. Bill Reardon told those attending the Wyandotte County Third District Democratic breakfast today that there is a critical need to get the vote out.

“This is why we lost the election to the Republicans,” he said, urging Democrats to look at the numbers.

The breakfast was held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Kansas City, Kan.

The meeting Saturday included a presentation by Raymond Starzman, who gave a speech portraying Harry Truman. Starzman talked about how Truman became the president. Starzman made Truman come alive to the audience.
