Wyandotte County Young Democrats and Wyandotte County Young Republicans are coming together to collect items for a charity.
The two groups are holding a “dignity drive,” collecting hygiene items for Giving the Basics, a local nonprofit in Kansas City, Kansas.
The groups will collect these items: Deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, feminine hygiene, toothbrushes, shaving razors and cream, and baby diapers.
Items may be dropped off from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at the Moose Lodge, 6621 Turner Drive, Kansas City, Kansas.
