A Gardner, Kansas, man was arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to an FBI spokesman.
Ryan Keith Ashlock of Gardner, Kansas, was taken into custody without incident by FBI agents on Feb. 22.
Ashlock was arrested on federal charges of conspiracy; obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder; obstruction of justice/Congress; and knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, according to the FBI.
The case is before the U.S. District of Columbia Court.
