Eighteen employees at the University of Kansas Health System received free tickets to the Super Bowl.
The employees were selected to be guests of the Kansas City Chiefs today at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
According to the health system, the workers were chosen to recognize their commitment to the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The 18 are among thousands of front-line health care professionals attending this year’s games as an effort to recognize health care workers and promote vaccination.
All of the health care workers attending have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. The NFL has rules in place at the game for safety.
Those who were selected from KU Health System to attend the game include Rachael Liesman, John Sorrick, Sara Ladner, Dominic Johnson, Shannon Schroeder, Rick Blevins, Dru Coleman, Lauren Timmons, Marissa Larson, Kevin Ohlandt, Michelle Rotrock, Kellie Hardy, Kelsey Belser, Richard Frazier, Cheyenne Maxwell, Lewis Satterwhite, Chris Brown and Ryan Jacobsen.
