Injury reported in townhouse fire
Fire crews responded to a general alarm at 9:23 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at 6343 Orville Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
Heavy fire at a six-unit townhouse was reported by the first crew that arrived, the report stated. A second alarm was dispatched, according to the report.
A woman in her mid-40s was taken to the hospital with second- and third-degree burns to the back of her legs, according to the report.
