Fire reported on Haskell Avenue
A fire was reported at 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 2901 Haskell Ave., according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
One person found outside the residence has been taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation, according to the report.
No other injuries were reported.
Crews searched the residence and found no one inside, the report stated.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the report.

A fire was reported at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 2707 N. Mill St., according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
As firefighters arrived, fire and smoke was showing from a shed, according to the report.
