Weather: High of 47, rain possible tonight

After a frosty morning, temperatures today will rise to about 47, according to the National Weather Service forecast. The temperature was 30 degrees at 9 a.m. Friday.

Rain is in the forecast tonight. Rain also is possible on Saturday, the weather service said.

Next week, temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s.

Today, it will be sunny with a high near 47, and a calm wind becoming south southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon, the weather service said.

Tonight, there is a 40 percent chance of rain after midnight, with a low of 40 and a south wind of 7 to 11 mph, according to the weather service. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible.

Saturday, there is a 20 percent chance of rain before 9 a.m., then a slight chance of rain after noon, the weather service said. The high will be near 64, with a south wind of 13 to 21 mph, becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Winds may gust as high as 34 mph.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 40 and a west wind around 11 mph, gusting to 21 mph, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny, with a high near 55 and a west northwest wind of 6 to 14 mph, gusting as high as 23 mph, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 38, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be sunny, with a high near 61, the weather service said.
