The victim of a fatal shooting on Stine Avenue has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
The victim was Jonathon Perez, 25, of Kansas City, Kansas, the spokesman stated.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Stine Avenue on a shooting about 10:27 p.m. Oct. 5, according to the spokesman.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and died from his injuries, the spokesman stated.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, according to the spokesman.
