Victim injured by gunfire while driving on Steele Road

Victims were driving in the 1900 block of Steele Road about 12:30 a.m. Sept. 25 when their vehicle was struck by gunfire, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

One of the victims had minor injuries, according to the report. The victims did not offer any suspect information, according to the report.

Suspect shoots at unoccupied business on Southwest Boulevard

An unknown suspect shot into an unoccupied business at 1:02 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 1400 block of Southwest Boulevard, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

Property was damaged, according to the report.

Home burglarized on North Hallock

A home was burglarized at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 2200 block of North Hallock, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim stated that when he arrived at his residence, he noticed the front door was damaged. When he entered, he heard the rear door of the residence open, according to the report.

The victim exited the house and saw a vehicle fleeing, the report stated. The victim stated that the suspect stole cash, according to the report.

Man stabbed by family member on Sewell Avenue

A victim was stabbed in the chest by a family member about 7:26 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 2800 block of Sewell Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The suspect left on foot, according to the report. The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, the report stated.
