Cabela’s at 10300 Cabela Drive, Kansas City, Kansas, will be the site for an American Red Cross blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16.
People interested in giving blood may visit RedCrossBlood.org and make an appointment, or call 1-800-733-2767. Currently, appointments are being encouraged.
According to a Red Cross news release, blood is in short supply, and donors of all races and ethnicities are needed to give blood.
Another Red Cross blood drive is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 at Repairs Unlimited, 1940 Merriam Lane, Kansas City, Kansas.
