Two Unified Government committees will meet at Monday evening, Sept. 14.
The UG Public Works and Safety Committee will meet at 5 p.m. Sept. 14 in a remote meeting accessible by Zoom and telephone, and to be shown on UGTV cable and YouTube.
On the PWS Committee agenda is a cooperative agreement for the levees project with WaterOne of Johnson County and the UG.
According to the agreement, WaterOne owns property near the project that will be allowed to be used as fill material for use in the construction of the levees, and the UG in return will construct two lime residual facilities for WaterOne.
After the PWS Committee ends, the UG Administration and Human Services Committee will meet.
On the agenda is a report on the UG employees’ flu vaccine program with no action scheduled; a presentation on eviction data with no action scheduled; and an update on CARES Act funding with no action scheduled.
