The suspect attempted to escape from custody, according to the report.
Shots fired into home on North 34th
Officers responded to a dispatched call about shots fired about 4:01 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 2700 block of North 34th Street, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers located evidence that confirmed a shooting into an occupied dwelling, according to the report.
Armed robbery reported on Kansas Avenue
An armed robbery was reported at 7:43 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 800 block of Kansas Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect entered the location and lingered for an extended time, according to the report.
Then the suspect brandished a weapon, pointed it at a victim, and demanded property and cash, according to the report.
The suspect then fled on foot, the report stated.
