Domestic battery reported on Leavenworth Road
Police were called to the 8100 block of Leavenworth Road about 10:48 a.m. Aug. 25 , according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A victim told officers the suspect had choked her to the point she could not breathe, according to the report.
The suspect was taken into custody after attempting to flee, police stated.
