A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died on I-635 about 3:34 a.m. July 3 near Parallel Parkway, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A preliminary investigation showed that the vehicle was traveling north on I-635 when a pedestrian entered the highway and was struck, the spokesman stated. The pedestrian died. The driver remained at the scene.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit- Critical Collision Response Team is investigating.
