Thursday’s weather: Warmer, chance of rain

Thursday’s temperatures could reach a high of 91, according to the National Weather Service, with a slight chance of rain.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 72 and a south wind of 9 to 11 mph, gusting as high as 21 mph, according to the weather service.

Friday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., with a high near 92, the weather service said. The heat index could be as high as 97. A south southwest wind of 10 to 17 mph will gust as high as 25 mph.

Friday night, there is an 80 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, with a low of 72, according to the weather service. A south southwest wind of 6 to 9 mph will gust as high as 20 mph. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.

Saturday, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 87, the weather service said, and a south southwest wind of 6 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.

Saturday night, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 73, according to the weather service. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.

Sunday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 91, the weather service said.
