A man in his early 30s died after being shot about 4:38 p.m. Saturday, June 20, in the 4800 block of Richmond Avenue, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect, a man in his early 50s, had left the scene of the shooting, according to police.
The victim, Vincent Locke 31, of Kansas City, Kansas, was taken to a hospital where he later died, according to police.
The suspect, Anthony Kane of Kansas City, Kansas, was taken into custody at a hospital where he had sought treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, police stated.
Police said an initial investigation indicated the two men were related and the shooting occurred as a result of a domestic argument.
