Charges filed in June 4 homicide

A man has been charged with second-degree intentional murder and use of a deadly weaspon in a homicide June 4 in Kansas City, Kansas.

A Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman stated that Tika Ram Sarki, 31, a Kansas City, Kansas, man, has been arrested and charged in the case.

He is in the Wyandotte County Jail, according to police. Bond was set at $175,000.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 3400 block of Barnett at 7:47 p.m. June 4, according to a police spokesman. When they arrived, they found a man, Narbu Tamang, 26, with an apparent gunshot wound who was deceased.
