Kansas City, Kansas, police today stated that a man who was identified as a person of interest in a shooting Wednesday evening in the 4700 block of State Avenue was taken into custody Thursday afternoon without incident.
A spokesman stated that a woman who had been identified as endangered was found safe last night, along with the vehicle.
The victim, a man in his 40s who was shot, remains in critical condition, the police spokesman stated. The shooting took place in the parking lot of a motel.
