A severe thunderstorm watch has b een issued for Wyandotte County until 8 p.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Also under the severe thunderstorm watch are surrounding counties including Johnson and Leavenworth.
According to the weather service, some storms could become severe, with up to ping-pong-sized hail and winds up to 60 mph.
