The victim of a fatal shooting on Tuesday, March 24, has been identified, according to Kansas City, Kansas, police.
The victim was identified as Tommie Collins, 19, of Kansas City, Kansas, police stated.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Ray Avenue at 9:58 p.m. March 24 on a report of shots fired, according to police.
They discovered a male who was deceased, and a female with non-life-threatening injuries inside a vehicle, police stated. The female was taken to a hospital for treatment and was released, according to police.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Detective Division is investigating.
