A homicide was reported on Tuesday night, March 24, in the 1300 block of Ray Avenue, according to Kansas City, Kansas, police.
Ray Avenue is located near I-70.
According to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, officers were called to the location about 9:58 p.m. March 24 on a report of shots fired.
Officers found a deceased male, and a female with non-life-threatening injuries inside a vehicle. The female was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to a spokesman.
There was no suspect in custody as of Tuesday night.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Detective Division is investigating.
