The victim of a shooting on Feb. 21 in the 1200 block of Central Avenue has been identified, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Erick Reynaldo Rangel-Mendoza, 22, of Kansas City, Kansas, was the victim, the spokesman stated.
Police responded to a call at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 21 and found Rangel-Mendoza shot, inside his car, the spokesman stated. Rangel-Mendoza was taken to the hospital and died from his injuries, according to the spokesman.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the shooting as a homicide. Police asked anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
