Some light precipitation in today’s forecast

Some light precipitation will be possible tonight into Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The precipitation may take the form of sprinkles in Wyandotte County, but there also is a chance for very light snow flurries in the region, according to the weather service.

A quick-moving clipper-like system will come through the area, the weather service said. No accumulation is expected.

Sprinkles could start around 3 p.m. today, and continue until 9 p.m. here, the weather service said.

Temperatures will warm this weekend into the 60s, according to the weather service. The next chance for rain will be Monday, and there is also a chance for snow Monday night.

The temperature was 31 degrees at 8 a.m. today.

Today, there is a chance of sprinkles after 3 p.m., with a high near 47, the weather service said. A southwest wind of 6 to 9 mph will become west northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight, there is a chance of sprinkles before 9 p.m., with an overnight low of 29, according to the weather service. A west wind will be 3 to 6 mph.

Friday, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 53 and a northwest wind of 6 to 11 mph, the weather service said.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 30 and a north northwest wind of 6 mph, becoming calm in the evening, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 65, the weather service said. A light south southwest wind will increase to 10 to 15 mph in the morning, with wind gusts up to 24 mph.

Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 49, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 65, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 42, according to the weather service.

Monday, there will be a 40 percent chance of rain with a high near 53, the weather service said.

Monday night, there will be a 40 percent chance of rain before 3 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., then a chance of snow after 5 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 32.

Tuesday, there will be a 50 percent chance of rain and snow, with a high near 52, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, there will be a 40 percent chance of rain with a low of 36, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, it will be sunny with a high near 53, the weather service said.
